Charles & Helen got married at the magnificent Merchants Hall, one of Bristols most prestigious venues, a grand building on the promenade in Clifton Downs with its beautiful gardens providing the perfect backdrop for drinks and canapés. Followed by the most stunning garden reception I think I’ve ever seen at the Freed family home.
Helen looked amazing in her Lela Rose dress from Browns Bridal and the shoes…oh for those heavenly Manolo Blahniks!!!, complimented by her beautiful bridesmaids who modelled perfectly in dark blue timeless classic dresses from J Crew.
It was a gorgeous day and the sun shone big time! Charles looked super stylish and dapper in his Military blues, complete with white gloves, sword and hat. I know he was suffering in the heat but he held it together for the photos until we headed back to the house (stopping at an ice cream van first!) for the evening reception where guests were catered for by the tastiest burgers from Patty and Bun.
I definitely can’t leave this blog without a big shout out for Tom Green catering at The Flavoursmith, plus the awesome Alastair and Alice of Alastair Currie Events as they helped put it all together and made sure the day ran smoothly.
For me though, this wedding was up there in terms of style and glamour! A huge celebration for everything Helen & Charles adore, from Military Uniforms, to cycling and being outdoors and in love! Feast your eyes on these shots and you’ll fall in love with their day like I did!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Freed, you rocked it, I’m honoured you chose me to cover your day, and I for one ‘LOVED’ every minute!
